ð Rascal’s Roadshow: Sticker Love & Laptop Woes ð
Hi friends! ð I’ve been lagging a bit on getting my blog out ð Between the battery dying on my laptop ðŧð and blowing the transmission on our truck ððĨ, I was waylaid for a bit... but I’m back on track! ð
I'm working on Part 3 of my Astoria, Oregon blog ð️ and will have it out very soon. But in the meantime, I wanted to share something I’ve mentioned in several blogs…
ð️ My Sticker Albums!
When you’re a full-time RVer living in a 30-foot travel trailer ð, you quickly learn that you can’t collect shot glasses ðļ, souvenir mugs ☕, or shiny bling and baubles ð from every stop on the map. Space is limited and so is our weight allowance! ðŽ

| Don't be a Tacy (Lucille Ball). She amassed a huge collection of goodies, including ROCKS, that she stashed around The Long, Long Trailer. Great old movie...give it a watch! |
That’s why collecting stickers became the perfect solution!
ðĄ
They’re compact ð§ģ, lightweight ðŠķ, and filled with memories ð
I’d love to say it’s a money-saver too ðļ… but wow, some of those stickers come with sticker shock! ðĪŊ I’ve paid anywhere from 25 cents ðŠ to over $12 ðĩ for one sticker. Crazy, right?! I do buy less expensive packages of miscellaneous stickers from Amazon and use those to fill in pages.
But flipping through the pages of my sticker albums always makes me smile
ð So...worth it!
They’re like little paper time machines ⏳ð that take me back to the places,
vibes, and weird little roadside stops we’ve loved ð
ðĨ I’ve made two short videos using photos from my phone to show off the collection. I think you would have enjoyed them! ð Unfortunately, they were both too long for Blogger ð …so, instead you get regular ol’ photos in a collage format. I’ll continue to work on making videos for future blogs though! In the meantime I hope you enjoy the pics!
ðĻ WARNING: Some stickers include a little salty language and a couple of political zingers ⚠️ So if that’s not your jam, feel free to skip past those. I don’t want anyone triggered… just stickered ð
If you have questions about any of the places I’ve collected stickers from, drop them in the comments ðŽ and I will respond! ðĨ°
Bonus! You’re also getting a sneak peek ð at some of the places I’ll be writing about in the coming weeks. So, stay tuned! ð
And yep… my collection may give away a little bit of my personality ðĪ
My vibe is a hippie-fantasy-loving soul with a thing for anything fantastical: gnomes ð§♂️,
mushroom art ð, sasquatch, peace signs ✌️, classic VWs ðð, and more! ð―
Let me know in the comments if you have any favorites! I’d love to hear which ones catch your eye ð️✨
EXCITING NEWS
After checking out this blog my wonderful son, Derrick, informed me the stickers are a bit hard to see in the photos. He suggested I make an unlisted YouTube video and share the link here! He's BRILLIANT! So...click the link below and you can see all my stickers in one video! What would I do without that kid? ð
